Qualifications & Certifications
Dr. Borg graduated from the University of Malta in 1997, completed his cardiology training in Manchester, UK, and has served as a consultant since 2012. His postgraduate research focused on myocardial deformation imaging in mitral valve regurgitation. His subspecialty interests include cardiovascular imaging, valvular heart disease, and myocardial deformation imaging, with proficiency in advanced echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, and cardiac CT scanning. Dr. Borg holds the position of clinical cardiologist and head of cardiovascular imaging at Mater Dei Hospital in Malta, and he is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Malta. He is also actively involved with the ESC European Examination in Core Cardiology.

I recently accompanied a friend for a minor intervention with Dr. Ben, and I was really impressed with the level of care at the clinic. The nurses on duty were exceptionally kind, attentive, and continuously checked on all patients to make sure everyone was comfortable.
Recovery took a few hours, and they truly went above and beyond to support us and ensure everything was going smoothly. Their professionalism and genuine care made a big difference.

My 99 year old mother received exceptional treatment at DaVinci Health after a fall which resulted in very severe bruising. On arrival by ambulance she was immediately assessed by the resident doctor and nurse and sent for X-rays. The hospital oozed state of the art equipment, cleanliness, efficiency and professional expertise as well as kindness and care. The hospital has an outstanding radiology department. I heartily recommend this hospital to anyone suffering some kind of fall injury requiring urgent/emergency assessment and treatment as well as for other medical consultancy. My mother and I are truly grateful.

Quick analysis & individual care.
We visited Da Vinci GP on a Sunday at 3.30pm. We needed an ultrasound done and they brought in a Radiologist despite they close at 4.30pm they gave us all the attention needed and even stayed later. They also checked up on us days later to see how we were doing. The service is impeccable. The clinic is super clean. I truly recommend Da Vinci especially on a Sunday when a GP is needed. Keep it up !! A++++

Very good experience ! I had to remove stiches on my daughter’s face ! I was in holidays in Malta ! I wrote to the clinic the week-end before Christmas ! they answered very fast ! we came on monday before Christmas ! the welcomer was very helpfull ! the 2 nurses very pro ! and the doctor did a super job ! my daughter was under stress but they did all the remove with quiteness and humour ! THANK’s a lot for your professionnalism !
