Upper GI Endoscopy (EGD / Oesophago-Gastro-Duodenoscopy)
Used to examine the oesophagus, stomach, and duodenum:
- Investigation of chronic reflux, nausea, upper abdominal pain
- Diagnosis of ulcers, gastritis, strictures, tumours
- Targeted H. pylori testing for bacterial infection
- Biopsies for coeliac disease or suspected malignancies
Colonoscopy & Lower GI Evaluation
Includes full colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and proctoscopy:
- Colorectal cancer screening
- Polyp detection and polypectomy (removal)

Biopsy & Pathology Integration

Colposcopy
Colposcopy is a procedure used to closely examine the cervix, vagina, and vulva to identify precancerous or abnormal cells. It is typically performed after an abnormal Pap smear.
Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscopy is a procedure used to examine the inside of the uterus. It helps diagnose and sometimes treat causes of abnormal bleeding, polyps, fibroids, or infertility.

Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive procedure used to examine or treat the organs inside the pelvis or abdomen. It is commonly used for conditions such as endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and fibroids
